Audit

The audit aims to assess the relevance of the actions implemented (welfare strategy, enrichment program, training, team organisation, facilities, etc.), their effects on the well-being of the animals currently housed, their alignment with the goals pursued, and the compliance of practices with regulatory expectations.

The assessment will be conducted through an analysis of documents provided by the establishment and by an on-site visit, including meetings and discussions with those in charge of the program and the animals (veterinarians, project managers, animal care teams, scientists, etc.)

Action plan

Implementation of targeted actions

Optimise animal management and welfare while enhancing team skills. Strategy and action plan based on the audit results, prioritisation of actions to be implemented (user training, field practices, animal group management and housing, management tools and procedures, etc.), setting of expected objectives and planning for monitoring and actions.

Internal communication

Welfare is the responsibility of the entire team, but everyone has a specific role to play. Clarification and/or definition of the roles and missions of each person within the framework of the global strategy, and the establishment of decision trees.

Consultancy and follow-up

A complementary approach to veterinary care, providing guidance support on social group management and identified issues.
